There are so many seemingly meaningless people and moments in your life that have an affect on you. You also come in contact with many people who you affect without knowing. Office supplies are cool....I guess?
Mervin (refering to my blog): Liz! I hate blue ink too. Red ink is kind of cool though.
Me: Mervin, I like red ink.
Tim: Wait, what is this about ink?
Me: I hate blue ink, but I like red.
Dave: GUYS!! What's black and white and read alllll over!? Whats wrong w/ blue ink?! i like blue ink. Blacks too plain and boring, red's too scary.
Me: A NEWSPAPER!!! Blue is so irritating and it always writes funny.
Tim: Remind me to write all my letters to liz in blue ink.
Dave: Blue has so much more character though. I have some great blue pens I could get you, Liz.
Tim: I'm partial to Papermate. We have all kinds of pens here. I don't think they order just one kind. It's nut. We do have pilots but they freaking suck. They leak ink all over the place.
Dave: I'm convinced that the person that orders supplies here orders them based on how good they look and not by price. We have Foray, pentel, Tul, BIC which are all great choices.
Me: I'm surprised that Mervin hasn't commented yet.
